I personally think that is an AWFULL way to treat a customer who has bought THE best product the company can offer , like he says "I liken this to buying a Ferrari in red and driving around with one yellow door" it just don't cut the mustard .COMMENCAL sort it out !!

I got a phone call from the Com importers in Norway, they had just received a complete VIP dh frame!
This about 20 minutes after the front frame got delivered to me at work.

So the front frame'll go back as soon as I get the complete frame...
Unless that goes missing in the post or something.

The decals on the VIP frame are green, so it might not have been so ugly... sort of like an expensive Las Vegas hooker in wellies or something.

Good news it the end but that's really shabby service somewhere along the line.  Not great but glad you are sorted and hope you can grow to like the VIP frame, I love mine.

Those custom graphics will look great with your new frame....

well, shipping is a bitch sometimes. There is nothing that is quite as annoying to wait for a part that just never turns up. Though the shipment seemingly took its time getting out of commie hq too, which is a shame.

to be perfectly honest, i think a white front with green decals and green rear would prob look quite good, if perhaps not as good as the other way around. Especially if you run white forks with similarly if rather large green decals on it, or resprayed the lowers. Hm, maybe i should talk to bendik and see if i can get sweet deal here... hehe. I'm already picturing how it would look. Green rear, white front with white 888atas or 40rc2s. Throw in some formula brakes, xtr cranks, white or green lg1s, pro2/823 wheels and so on...  Now, that would prob be one sweet ride! hehe

Hehe, I know, I had gotten my head around the colouring too, and then they phoned to say I wouldn't have that... I'm really mixed up now.

I'm not sure the power of CoC here, I'm kinda thinking the complete frame was on it's way already.

And it's not bad service from either Com Norway or Com hq, it's the transport and customs...

It's Norway right?

Shipping to there is a fecking pain. Customs recently sat on a bike I sent there for 3 weeks with no explanation. Then the said they've lost the bike! Thing is, we have a contact there and I know it's there, they just can't be arsed to do the paperwork and move it on, so as UPS is kicking off at them on my behalf, they just say, it's lost, so feck off!

I've had nothing but problems shipping to Norway and I'm considering stopping it altogether.

A friend of mine has ordered some bike kit that is taking forever too.
On monday the "fellesferie" starts, that is the official summer hols, and means verything slows down to half speed... but not till monday.
