just wanna know the exact amount of rear whel travel for my 2008 supreme dh as am thinking of getting a ti spring

178mm.

Except, of course, this varies as you adjust the wheelbase (shorter wheelbase, wheel sweeps a smaller diameter circle so less travel!  I'll work it out exactly one day...)

I was sat looking at my bike yesterday wondering if the travel would increase with wheel base Tongue now i'm sure of it

Hey dudes,

Don't forget the type of trails you ride or your driving style: shorter wheel base for a more technical and tight descent, longer wheel base for more stability at higher speeds.

On my experince, it doesn't really matter the wheel base lengh - this bike is always superb.

And is it really necessary to ad 2 or 3cm to the rear travel? It doesn't make a significative difference if you increase (or try to) the rear travel - the important thing is how the Full Contact System works, making the rear travel very progressive.  Wink
