Two mates of mine and me are up for a week's hol in July/August. We've done Morzine/Les Gets, southern Spain, Utah and Whistler. We want to do mainly lift assisted DH but all of us have a XC background too so we are not afraid of the odd "pedally bit". All 3 of us can only commit to a week.  Sad

We were thinking about Verbier or Tignes for a change.  Anyone know the riding and how expensive it is for these places? Any other Europe suggestions?

BTW - the weather in the Alps doesn't look any better than here at the moment and Whistler looks bl00dy awful.

How bout Livigno in Italy?? its in the alps and has some sweet downhill tracks(has hosted the world cup) and some cool as freeride too,not to mention the endless x-country if you have any energy left. Check out "mottolino.com" for some more info.
I was over there boarding in march,it was feckin ace, good bars, good food and cool people, and the prices aint too bad either. if you go over the bike shop to check out is De fox, they have two shops on either end of town, they said they'd be stocking commencal, kona and norco this year so they should have a sweet rental setup if you require it.

If your ok with natural trails and rocks and roots and stuff try Andorra. The Commie guys know all the hidden stuff and it is impressive.
