Hi all.  Can anybody help me with the frame geometry for an Xtra Large Commencal Meta 4.1.
I am 1.97 meters tall. I have made the expensive mistake of purchasing a bike that is too small and \i dont want to repeat that mistake.

Can anybody help... the Commencal website is under construction at the moment.

Help please

Meta 4 is unchanged since 05. Geom will not tell you if it will fit or not, you need tube lengths. What height are you?

1.97m = 6'5"

So I'm guessing an XL.

sorry, missed that. Ya, I'm an inch smaller and on a XL, also a guy an inch taller rides one and is fine.

You've made the right choice, well other than maybe getting a Meta5 ;-)

Yes Im 6 ft 5.5 and weight 100 kg (dont know how many stone that is)
The dealer reckons this will fit me well but he has not provided me with frame measurements yet.
The problem is that here in Africa bikes in large sizes are not readily available.
So I have to pay him upfront for him to order the unit.
If it is the wrong size then Im up the creek without a paddle.

Yes the frame size is extra large
The model would be 2008.

If you have please let me know.  So far your info has been interesting.

Keep it comming
Thanks

Since it's unchanged since 2005, then last years VIP page will cover it-
http://www.commencal.com/bike/mtb/2007/geometry/meta4.pdf

Or you can browse this years catalogue online at-
http://www.commencal.com/bike/mtb/2008/index.htm

Here's the 2006 geometry, but between 2006 and 2007 Commençal changed how certain measurments were taken (Bottom Bracket height changed from ground up, to distance above/below wheel axles, and top tube measurements changed so they're longer, but I've not figured out exactly how yet) -
