I'm heading off to Spain 15th-22nd Sept to go biking.  I've had a few friends who have had their bikes destroyed before by baggage handlers when they had them in cardboard boxes/bike bag.

So I'm a bit paranoid and would rather use a proper hard case bike box, but 150 quid is pushing it a bit for me at the moment. But would still like something to properly hold my bike like this one from the http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/ebwPNLqrymode.a4p?f%5FProductID=7211&f%5FFullProductVersion=1&f%5FSupersetQRY=C140%7E1&f%5FSortOrderID=1&f%5Fbct=c003154c003119c003127m003662

I was hoping that someone would kindly lend/hire one out to me.  I appreciate this is a bit cheeky/asking you to trust me but it would be great if someone would.

Or does anyone have one they want to sell?

I live in Edinburgh and ride around there a lot.

 Cheers.

Don't own one and even if I did, you are on the other side of the pond from me.
I know of a few bike shopd around me that rent bike cases. If you don't get any positive responses, try one in your area.
Also, speaking as a bagguage handler, use two cardboard bike boxes when sending your bike and buy some pipe insolating foam to wrap up your bike. Another helpful hint would be to use pvc tubing and cut it to the width of the box and place them in a few spots to prevent crushing.
Good luck,
Eric
