Finally, after what feels like the longest winter ever, I was able to get out after work last night to my local trails at Delamere.

They weren't in the best condition, there were muddy lines and messy landings, but it was all good in the Spring Sunshine.

So today I am mostly smiling....

Bravo Tim!

Was there about 3 weeks ago and it was absolutely filthy muddy.  Cheesy

Here's to the spring sunshine drying it out (although the monsoon we had this morning may not have helped)  Angry

Am available for after-school trips to Delamere now - can get there by about 6:30, so feel free to give me a shout next time you're going...pretty sure I'll be able to embarrass myself in front of yet more people with my riding skills  Grin

Does look like one although it could be a 666!
Yes its nice to get back from a blast and not have to hose down the mud.......! My condolences to anyone that has still got parts missing/broken and can't get out yet! It is always handy to have a spare bike in the garage somewhere  Wink

The sun shone at Innerleithen on sunday  Grin
Was a very welcome change from the snow a fortnight before.
Just need some more sun and Innerleithen may even be mud free  Shocked

Here's a pic of me from the weekend, which even proves we do get blue sky in Scotland :-)

Nothing better than being in the woods 10 minutes from home, blasting of jumps. Life is good.

C'mon does no-one ever read my posts? That is one of the first Custom Meta 666's to reach the mighty UK shores!  Grin

Custom Meta 666 - Hell hath no fury!

As for getting some big air, one of my missions this summer is the old gap jump at Delamere as well as the new one ( though the landing there is rather flat ).....you'll get your shots of the carnage and the glory.

It is a good pic!
I think it's the rider that makes it so good though  Roll Eyes

Was taken by a mate who likes his photography.
