Having tried to catch as much as I can from the poor TV coverage of DH biking, and having made the journey to the fantastic event that was the world cup at Fort William this year, it is my view that Sam Hill could vacate his trusty Iron Horse steed half way down the mountain, take Minnar's, Peaty & Gee's respective burds out for a right good meal and Stella fest, get back on the bike and still win by 5 seconds.

The guy is in a different league to everyone else and whilst the others mentioned are also truly inspiring to watch they are a tad behind Hill and he's only 21 years old!!!!

Whilst we're on the subject the atmosphere at Fort William was second to none and well worth the effort to get there. Shows how far this sport has come judging by the crowd numbers in a location that is a fair trek for most to get to.

Hill didn't win at Fort Bill by much last year.
Fabien Barel very nearly got it, and I reckon Cedric would of been in with a good chance if he hadn't broke himself during the 4x, as he has won there before.

I think that someone from the Animal Commencal team will see me doing wheelies and skids down the cul de sac on my estate on my new Meta. They will be so amazed by what they see they will sign me up on the spot and enter me in the World Cup.

Then I will just point my bike downhill and my hefty body will carry me down far faster than any of those skinny professionals and I will be there on the podium in my bulging-round-the-middle rainbow jersey...
