Ok, this will be on every biking website today as the super strict press embargo has been lifted, however seeing as I was getting up at 4am to get a flight to Amsterdam I thought I might beat the UK sites at least ( though Dirt Mag I think might have got it up at midnight? ).

Just when you thought that XT was the perfect groupset for all-mountain use......

If like me you have been expecting a new CG Helmet design for a while, you won't be disappointed. His signature Bell graphic was a big seller a couple of seasons ago and now you can get the latest 'Drop' helmet with these classy green graphics. Designed by Sebastian Caldas ( the Commie Art guy ) and Christophe Opilard ( from OCD ), get your orders in with your local Bell Helmet dealer now!

( which starts with "I've had this bike for almost a year now and I'm still loving it as much as the first day I took it for a spin...." )

Word is just in that Commencal riders have cleaned up at the first round of the Maxxis cup held in Portugal. In mens Elite Gee Atherton took first, Dan Atherton took 2nd and Cedric Gracia took third.

In the woman elite Rachel Atherton took first.

Both the Mighty CG and Gee Atherton are up for the MBUK Hall of Fame to celebrate 20 years of the Mag. They are up against Peaty, so it is not going to be easy, but good to see the two Commie riders up their at the top. Who would you choose?

You've have seen the first public pics which SteveB took at Icebike of the Animal Commencal Atherton Team Supreme bikes, fully pimped up with the new colourways. However the keen eyed amongst you would have seen on the last Team podcast that Dan and Gee were rocking 2 fluro Orange hardtails. 100% exclusive to the Owners Club ( not a generic press release you will see everywhere else ) It turns out that for dirt jumping duties they have opted for a very bright  ....
